Important association policy

All students that join the SenShinRyu Karate Clubs are required to fill in a Licence/Insurance/Registration application form which includes a section for any medical details that we should be aware of, (please note that all Licence Registration submissions are renewable from the 1st January, annually) duly signed by a parent or guardian for reasons of Health & Safety, Identity and Administration purposes.

All SenShinRyu Karate Instructors are Criminal Records Bureau checked, have certified Instructors Indemnity Insurance Cover for £5.000.000 and are England Karate Federation (governing body) registered Instructors. (All these documents can be verified on request)

The Senshinryu Karate Association operates a vigorous Child Protection Policy: Mr M. O'Brien (07751- 880203) is our trained Child Welfare Officer and for obvious protective reasons young students will not be permitted to leave the training hall unless accompanied by an authorised adult or with the explicit permission of a close identified relative.

After the initial beginner’s period of four weeks, students will be expected to have studied and adhere to all the rules of the ‘dojo’ in addition a fully payed up, EKF licensed SenShinRyu karate student may train at any other of the associations clubs within the North Somerset and Bristol area without extra payment.
